Dear Friends: I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy and Prosperous New Year. We look forward to 2010 and working with you to make a big difference in Long Beach on Anaheim Street. This is a friendly reminder to RSVP for the EASBA Monthly Meeting at 12 noon, Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Cucina Picarelli Italian Restaurant, 5096 E Pacific Coast Hwy in Long Beach. We hope you will join us as we will officially introduce our newest EASBA Board member Joan Van Hooten from the Long Beach Playhouse. This month we are pleased to welcome Larry Herrera, the City Clerk of Long Beach, who will provide an update on the upcoming City Elections as well as an in-depth overview of the office of the City Clerk. We also will have community updates from Councilmember Patrick O’Donnell’s office and Kymberly Cloughesy from the Long Beach Police Department’s East Division. We look forward to seeing you and learning more about your business, as well as how we can all work together to improve East Anaheim Street. The price for lunch is $12 (includes beverage, tax and tip). Overflow parking is graciously provided by the Long Beach Playhouse (E.14th Street and PCH).
