Welcome to the East Anaheim Street Business Alliance (EASBA) website. The EASBA Board of Directors is honored to serve because of the promising future that lies ahead for the East Anaheim Street Business District of Long Beach. The EASBA is a membership-based, not-for-profit organization whose primary mission is to lead and serve the business community of East Anaheim Street and positively influence the city’s overall social and economic landscape. We further empower local businesses and enable them to achieve their business goals. We also provide opportunities to showcase products and services, and to build a powerful business contact network. As 2009 continues to unfold, the economy remains the primary concern for businesses large and small throughout Long Beach, the state of California and the nation. The EASBA is working hard to support more than 500 businesses within our district. Even though times are tough, our membership is focused on carrying out a visionary, long-term strategy that will transform East Anaheim Street into a truly premiere shopping and business destination. We would like to extend a standing invitation to join us as we forge a path to a more prosperous East Anaheim Street. If you would like to become an EASBA member, or if you are interested in a leadership role as a member of our Board of Directors to help us pursue our common vision for the future, please contact EASBA President Rod Wilson by phone or via email: Phone: (562) 494-3800 Email: info@easba.com Our monthly meetings are held at noon on the fourth Tuesday of every month at Cucina Picarelli 5096 E. Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach CA. (MAP) Join us for a superb four-star lunch, guest speakers from the regional business community, and stimulating conversation about current economic and social issues facing Long Beach today. Our current focus is on the establishment of a Business Improvement District (BID) for East Anaheim Street. The BID essentially will be a fund established by and for participating businesses to finance a wide range of marketing, promotions, security and cleanliness programs to improve the appearance of the district. Establishing a BID will benefit everyone with business interests along the corridor, making the area more attractive to customers as well as potential new businesses. We are in the midst of collecting enough signatures from district businesses to move forward with the BID process. We are making great strides, but we could use your help. If you would like to join this great program, please feel free to contact us anytime to make the arrangements. On behalf of the entire EASBA membership, we hope you will consider joining us and we look forward to seeing you soon. Sincerely, East Anaheim Street Business Alliance - Board of Directors:
